Recently I will be completing my Ph.D and I have started looking for Post Doc Fellowship. I need suggestions from all you guys. I have worked on Whole exome sequencing and Cardiomyopathies.
I need a suggestions, should I stick to same research topic and further extend my Ph.D topic or switch to some other to make my proposal for Post Doc.

Recently submitted one. While no negative feed back on the format or content, the flaws in the ideologies and novelties of research is pointed out.
The proposal if it can suffice enough on the novelty of the project, the objectives that are very precise and crystal clear, the methodology and its uniqueness and the delimitations are specified, then it is fine. Various universities in India and Abroad asks for feasibility of the project.
The topic need not be tbe same or continuation of Ph.D,
It can be on the "research worthiness and that can contribute to current problems as well as, the limitations are clearly specified. It also depends on the evaluator and the resource person who is to share his funds, and if he finds your proposal worthy enough, it can fetch you or else, if it is very novel, and some of the organisations which allows for Post Doc, but not by way of funding may give you a chance. "BE VERY CLEAR AND STRONG IN METHODOLOGY", and the contributions you can make, that substantiates.
