Now, I am writing a paper on text mining. There are many International journals. I am confused which journal is the best journal for submitting a paper. Elsevier, Springer, IEEE, ACM etc. If possible you may attach link bellow.
Santosh - what you have identified here are not journals - but 'publishing houses'. Elsevier and Wiley are amongst two of the biggest and contain many journals. As long-established publishing houses, many of their journals are long-standing, established and reputable journals. Alongside that, they usually appoint reputable editors, editorial boards and robust reviewing and publishing systems. You also identify Springer - which is another established publishing house - alongside the likes of Sage etc.
My advice is to access the Thomson Reuter ISI Web of Citation citation index pages. Here - you can enter your discipline and it will generate a list of established journals according to their Impact Factor. It's not an exact science - but it is commonly used. The lists offer direct links to the journal home pages. Here you can make a more informed decision on which are the best journals for you to target for your topic area - according to journal scope, house-style, reputation etc.
Thank you, Mr. Whitehead. You have given me valuable information on different publishing houses. Can you provide a link for accessing Thomson Reuter's ISI Web citation index pages?
