A fume hood is not for sterility!

You can weight your chemical on regular bench then go to the sterile cell culture hood to dilute it with sterile solvent (water?) in sterile tube and finally filter it with sterile 0.2 µm pore filter mounted on sterile syringe in a new sterile tube.

don't know if this chemical is stable in solution and frozen.

Thanks for your reply. Did you tell me specifically about the MPP+. Actually, what I meant was that due to the toxicity of the MPP+, on one hand I should use the fume hood but not anywhere else and on the other, since the solution should be made fresh every time, the whole batch of MPP+ can not be dissolved at once. As a result, the volume for a single usage would be too little to be filtered. That is why, I asked how could the two issues be resolved in the fume hood. I suppose, a U.V lamp could actually sterilize the area under the hood, thus we could perform both for the safety as well as for the sterility.

It exists small filter to mount on 1 ml syringe, with no lost volume.

Fume hood takes in continuous non-sterile air, do you want to use UV while manipulating at the same time?

Do you really need to sterilize your chemical? For how long will you incubate cells with it?

You may manipulate your chemical with clean cup and spatula, and then dilute it in sterile condition in cell culture hood and sterile water without filtering.

Thanks so much for your very descriptive answer and of course your precious time. In fact, my other problem is that I can not dilute the whole batch of the powder, that is, I have to use micrograms each time. The solution needs to be fresh every time, even -20C doesn't work.

I understand you can't make stock solution and freeze, and you use small quantity. Why not dilute it directly in your culture medium at the working concentration?
