Hi @santhosh. There are different methods that you can somehow validate your remote sensing data. Sometimes I also have seen the comparison between different satellite sensor. Therefore probably validating one satellite with the one that has already demonstrated its ability would be ok. However, We compared our AOD product retrieved from Modis with ground AERONET stations.
