I am working on solar absorption cooling system in TRNSYS as part of my MSc thesis. I need to justify my results and validate the model. How can I convince the evaluation committee that my model is valid and results are accurate?
for any scientific or engineering research there is criteria to validate a simulation or experimental study. for solar cooling system there are some bench marks set by European SACE report and other authors you can find easily. there are some specific parameters to be compared for validation.
more over, the evaluation committee should have experienced person who know this basic knowledge.
Are you working to create a model for solar absorption cooling system which can be used in TRNSYS? if it is the case then you would have created an numerical model. you can compare it with analytical solution to validate your model.
If you working on system simulation in TRNSYS then you can compare the solution with some benchmark results as said by Muhammad and Khaled.

Dear Jani, I am working on solar absorption cooling systems. I am running parametric analysis to find optimum tilt and thermal storage. The control strategy may be different for my model from others.
