Hello!
While designing a Low Noise Amplifier, I have observed that using non-linear models of any transistor to be used in the amplifier gives much better results than the S-parameter file (*.s2p file). Obviously, the equivalent circuit gives us appropriate results as the behavior and response of the model are responsible for the better results.
At times, it happens that we have to settle for the *.s2p files and get rough results and try to improve the performance of the amplifier by trial and error and changing the peripheral component values. Also, all the companies provide s parameter files but they won't always provide the non-linear models.
On this ground, I would like to know if there is any way we can make use of the *.s2p files to create the non-linear models. If yes, can you guide me through this approach?
