How to use iR compensation in Versastudio?

I am using Parstat 4000 electrochemical workstation for OER performance test, after I get the solution resistance after measuring the EIS, I try to do 85% iR compensation in the LSV parameter setting interface, but the result I get is rather worse than the uncompensated one, is it the wrong method of compensation and how should I do it?
