How to use a filter paper diffusion method to introduce chemicals to test samples of arthropod eggs/ova?

I am currently doing a research proposal on the efficacy of a certain plant extracts against ova of various human arthropod parasites. During my search for an appropriate administration method for the chemicals/extracts into the ova, I found out the filter paper diffusion method and I thought it would be the most appropriate for my bioassays.

I used it for similar experiment with Sitophilus granarius adults, filter paper was placed on the bottom of Petri dish.
