Try these transitions for Aldicarb (MRM transitions of 208.2->89.1 amu and 208.2->116.1amu), Carbofuran  (MRM transitions of 222.2 -> 123.1 amu and 222.2 -> 165.2 amu), Carbaryl (MRM transitions of 202.1 -> 145 amu and 202.1 -> 127 amu), Methomyl (MRM transitions of 163.1 -> 88.1 amu and 163.1 -> 106 amu). Fix these values before infusion. Prepare these compounds at 1 - 5 ng/ul in solution that contains the ionizing agent (ammonium acid or acetic acid or whatever) and then infuse directly into the MS. Scan the compounds for the parent ion first, with collision gas off. Once you are able to see the peak of the parent ion, you can adjust (tune) the capillary and cone voltages to get the most intense peak. Write the values down, then open collision gas and scan for the fragments. When you see the fragment, now you can tune the collision energy to get the most intense peak, and write that collision energy down. And so on till you do this for all your compounds. It is such a tedious process to develop the MRM, but you must develop it with patience to obtain best values that you'll fix for your real analyses. let me first point out that I am currently working with Waters,. As mentioned it can be a tedious process to optimize all the MRMs and the sample tune of Intellistart might assist you on that. Waters has a number of application notes in regard to pesticides on its website and it aso provides quanpedia - a database application that lets you quite easily optimize multi MRM methods in conunction with already existing databases. I have attached some information on this. I have worked with the 400-pesticide database and I found it quite easy to use and customize.
