You can't measure the moisture content of bricks after coating them. The best way is to measure the MC before performing the coating.

The applied wax will form a layer on the surface of bricks, which will make the measurement of MC kind of impossible by using the currently used equipment like the thermo-hygrometer and moisture-meter... these measurements need to be performed directly on the surface of bricks without the presence of a barrier like wax.
