I am good at DOS, Band structure and phonon studies. I would like to extend my studies to Dielectric and Ferroelectric studies. How to find the polarization in the material?

Article Plasmons and dynamic screening effects in crystals
You can find out polarization of the material from dielectric studies. In dielectric study, draw the graph between dielectric constant and log f. In the graph, if the dielectric constant goes on decreasing with respect to the frequency then space charge polarization taking place. Once the space charge polarization is over the dielectric constant almost remains constant for the remaining frequency range.
