I recently came across the following reference to a book review, cited improperly as an article by H. Papageorgiou and J Aitchison.
The Statistical Analysis of Compositional Data. by J. Aitchison (p. 345)Review by: H. Papageorgiou DOI: 10.2307/2532069 Stable URL: https://www.jstor.org/stable/2532069
Published in Biometrics, Vol. 45, No. 1, Mar., 1989
To my understanding, the authors intended to cite the book by John Aitchison (1986), but obviously did not have the complete reference at hand. Nevertheless the non-existing article has now 111 cites in Researchgate. I wonder if there is a way to stop this, or at least to alert authors.
