A journal the wants me to provide "The details of the study were reviewed and approved by' the relevant institutional review board/ethics review committee. The information pertaining to ethical review by the appropriate ethics review committee should appear in the methodology section of the paper" but I am not affiliated to any institution. Also, the article is a brief research report,journal does not contain methodology.
How to sort out the issue about providing ethical approval by research ethics committee of the institute??
Normally it is easier for those research conducted under academia / university whereby most of them have their own research ethics committee to approve each research. For your scenario, perhaps you can check with the organization / institution that sponsor / support your research whether financially or access to their datasets etc.
