I am working on water drop simulation on Platinum surface using LAMMPS. EAM is used for Pt and TIP4P for water, but how to model the interaction between water and Platinum using LAMMPS?
The most popular method of modelling Pt-water interaction is the Zhu-Phillpott method ("Interaction of water with metal surfaces", Journal of Chemical Physics, 1994) which involves image charges plus additional complexities..I am unable to understand whether it is possible to implement the same in LAMMPS?
