in the Article that I am regenerating , used Simulink but I think optisystem is easier than Simulink.
in the Article reported a nonlinear waveguide with ɣ=10000 1/w/km but I don't know how can I use this coefficient in Optisys.
in Optisys just can adjust χ parameter as nonlinear parameter.

ɣ is the nonlinear coefficient of the wave guide used. This non-linear coefficient of wave guide is further described by the relation γ = 2*π*n_2/ λ*A_eff
where n_2 is nonlinear index of refraction, λ is operating wavelength, A_eff is the effective area of the wave guide.
Now using these parameters you can simulate desired cylindrical shaped wave guides using OptiSys.
