How to simply calculate unsaturated hydraulic conductivity from lysimeter data logger's data? We only have theta (vol water content) and corresponding kPa values collected from different soil depths (0, 15 and 30 cm from surface) as you can see from the attached excel file. It would be great if someone can calculate it in the file and attached it for me to look at. There are so many papers out there, but I found them very confusing and complex. Thanks in advance for your help, I really appreciate it.
Probably you will find a reliable comment on https://www.hs-osnabrueck.de/.../Water_Retention_Curve_10.xls of prof Anlauf about theretical back groud page. Basically you will need some physical constant of the soil under scrutiny in order to fit a reverse sigmoid for 3 points.
Thanks Guido for the response, but, that link didn't work for me though. However, I do know about those constants and am thinking to use a software to generate them.
