When I was looking for the CHON force field I needed, I copied the parameters of the force field from the Supplement PDF file (e.g. CHON-2019) into a txt format file, but the formatting would change, resulting in frequent formatting errors when I used it.
How should I copy the parameters correctly?

It's a bit finicky to extract parameters from PDF's for sure. In ReaxFF files the "comment" lines seem to require correct formatting as well. I think I managed to correct CHON-2019 formatting in the attached file, or at least LAMMPS accepts it.
