I have some data of radiances over latitude and longitude. When we do fft, the frequency window is from -fs/2 to fs/2. But, when we do fft2, what will be in the x axis and y axis? -spatial frequency/2 to +spatial frequency/2? How can I convert those frequency to wavelength?
If you think about the matrix, the first dimension is that of time and the other is in the dimension of space. Similar to FFT in single dimension, you are doing fft2 using the definition mentioned in the textbook. Therefore, in the frequency domain it is frequency and wavenumber i.e. simple analogue of FFT in 2D.
