I have performed a multicomponent condensation reaction of benzaldehyde, malononitrile and barbituric acid with my heterogenous catalyst. Precipitate is formed as the product, so the product and the catalyst is in same phase, i.e. in solid phase. Now I am facing problem to separate the catalyst from the product. So, I am looking for suggestions to find any greener method to separate the product and the catalyst.
