I want to know how can the coherence times of a 3.5 GHz channel can be scaled to a 800 Mhz channel?
Can someone give me an idea?.
The coherence times define of carrier frequency and Allan's variance. The coherence times inversely of these parametrs.

The coherence time is determined by the carrier frequency and the Allan dispersion. The coherence time is inversely proportional to these parameters.

Thanks for the answer. Do yoi have a pdf of the books for me

Dear Vikesh,
I would like to add to Mihail that the coherence time Tc can be expressed by the relation:
Tc= 9/16 pi fm, where fm is the Doppler shift,
The Doppler shift fm = vxfc/ c where v is the speed of the vehicle, fc the carrier frequency and c is the speed of light.,
So, the coherence time is inversely proportional to the carrier frequency.
Accordingly the scaling rule is Tc1/Tc2= fc2/fc1 ,
Then using this scaling rule you can calculate the new coherence time.
For the formula of the coherence time please refer to the link: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/14911/en/
Best wishes
many thanks
