I'm conducting a thermal analysis on a RF amplifier module. The geometry of the module is created using DesignModeler and it is simulated on Icepak. However, the solution is diverged. Post-processing shows that the flow is rebounded off the module. How should I generate the flow throughout the module?

Hi Loy,
Try checking mesh in all components.. Set priorities to components to get proper mesh.
Check cabinet walls ( opening or wall) ...

Attached is a picture of the vector plot of my simulation. These are the boundary conditions;
1. Opening at max-y direction
2. Natural convection, no fan
3. Turbulent flow regime (zero equation)
4. Steady State

What is your cabinet represents... is it closed enclosure to have only one opening... Since you have given only one opening, one half is acting inlet and other half outlet and ultimately divergence...

However, I am currently facing another issue. The solver hangs at 80% before Fluent can solve the domain. Below are my boundary conditions:
1. Openings on both min and max y
2. Y direction velocity @ 10m/s
3. Enclosure open at min and max y
