One of the objectives of my SLR was to identify the mediators, moderators, Independent variables and dependent variables, used in the studies under the review. However, its common that study A considers Brand Attitude as a mediator, while study B operationalizes it as a moderator, and other studies as IV or DV.

When I am building my conceptual framework, I want to show the interrelationships between the IV/DV/Me/Mo etc.(for example in Bubphapant, J., & Brandão, A. (2023). Content marketing research: A review and research agenda. International Journal of Consumer Studies, 1–30. https://doi.org/10.1111/ijcs.12984)

My concern is, when I am consolidating the results for the entire SLR, and trying to report the mediators/moderators as a group, how do I treat such variables which have been operationalized in different categories? Though, in the text, I am explaining all these different scenarios, but I am not sure about the final model. Will it be correct to report Brand Attitude as the mediator as well as moderator/IV/DV?

And if I have to select between the two, can I do this on the basis of the frequency? If Brand Attitude has been used more as a mediator than moderator/IV/DV, then can I show it as a mediator only? I have attached my query in the form of a diagram.

Regards
