The Reviewer of my paper want to know the amount of pla residue left in polymer nanocomposites. so which analysis is best for the explanation for polymer residue left in the polymer nanocomposites.
If you want to remove TiO2 from your PLA matrix and you want to determine the TiO2 residue, you have to use ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma), which allows to determine residue contents up to ppt (parts per trillion). It is noteworthy that ICP doesn't allow to determine content of C, O, N, H and halogens in the sample.
If you want to determine the amount of PLA in your polymer composites, TGA is the best and the most convenient technique, as mentionned before.
