How to remove MgO selectively from a mixture of Mg and MgO?

Can anyone please suggest what will be the best solvent to selectively remove MgO?

milling can be an option since MgO is brittle and Mg is ductile. But you should not try to decrease the particles too much which will promote the oxidation of metallic Mg.
