I have 2x2 pile having depth l=20m embedded in two layers of soil ! I have three cases to compute settlement of pile ! The distributed load " N " is applied on the pile cap.
Case 1 : N + g

Case 3: g
In case 2, I need only vertical Stress without gravity ! Is it possible to get result without gravity , if yes , kindly elaborate how to remove gravity ?
Abaqus is used as a tool for simulation.

By following these steps, you can effectively remove the gravity effect in Case 2 and compute the vertical stress due to the distributed load "N" only. This will allow you to analyze the impact of the distributed load without the influence of gravity.
