i am working on 6 MHz antenna and i want to remove the imaginary part in the input impedance. i used Lumped RLC bounday condition but no sol. any help?
so long you want to remove the imaginary part from the the input impedance of a device at a specific frequency you need to connect in series with it the compensating reactance or you can also connect to it the compensating parallel susceptance. You can add them as stubs or lumped elements.
Imaginary part should give you the information about phase shift and reactive power. If Zin is calculated or measured accurately, to compensate the same reactive part connect the stub. Just check once the calculation of stub.
