Apart from chemical methods, and taking into account that you are talking about melted lead, I suggest you to use a direction solidification method, like the "zone melting" method developed by William G. Pfann long time ago (1958).

This method is based in the following concept. The partition coefficient of one element is the ratio of equilibrium solubility in another element in both, solid and liquid condition. If the partition coefficient k=Xs/Xl (molar fraction in solid & molar fraction in liquid) of one element A in another B is 1, this means that element A is equally soluble in the melted B than in the solid B, and then the concentration of A in B will not change across the solid-liquid interface.
