After vulcanizing of natural rubber compounds, the smell of the pieces is very unpleasant. Is it possible to reduce this smell by adding special ingredients or adding special processes?

In order to reduce the smell of vucanized natural rubber, the vulcanization process should be carried out in an open and airy area. The addition of any ingredient apart from the initial rubber compound formulation may alter the vulcanization characteristics and the properties of the vulcanizate.
