Dispersed your compound in ethanol or in distilled water, after that put 30 to 40 minutes for ultrasonication. Add a single drop of nanoparticle solution onto the carbon-coated copper grid (400 mesh). Dry at room temperature. Make sure your grid is not touching the tissue paper. Further, that leave the grid for 30 to 45 min to air dry and then go for imaging.

Disperse the nanoparticles in ethanol or in distilled water, put the nanoparticles in the sample holder and dry at vacuum. take care that be well disperse and not make aglomerates.
Firstly, check that on which solution Nano particles (which you have synthesised) disperse properly like ethenol, alcohole or water. Prepare a nano particle mixed solution, sonicate it for few minutes. Take a carbon coated grid on a whatman paper, add a 5-10 microleter drop on to a grid using micropipette. Keep it for natural drying. Your sample is ready to record TEM.
In TEM sample preparation what quantity of nanoparticle needs to be mixed in solvent ethanol. before ultra-sonication? minimum quantity that would give result.
It's quite easy, just dissolve your sample in water then sonicate it by probe sonicator after that take a small amount of your sample and drop 1-2 drops on the TEM grid and leave it to dry at room temperature.
