For the preparation of selenium nanoparticles mostly selenious acid is used however if someone try to prepare it from selenium dioxide what will be the proposed procedure or mechanism?? Is it possible to make selenious acid from selenium dioxide in ordinary chemistry lab?
Dear Sufian Rasheed just check the Wikipedia entry "Selenous acid". The acid can be easily prepared by adding selenium dioxide to water:

Thank you very much for this question, which is very interesting. First of all, I have attached two publications, one which is very recent, that of 2020, where the authors synthesise nanoparticles, but using a selenium salt (Na2SeO3.5H2O).

But for your case I propose to think about a Green Synthesis, since with this method you will need to find stabilising agents that can be a plant extract, since this method is very practical.
