How to prepare dataset(For example caltech101 or standford dog) for training VGG net or googLeNet ?

I am new to deep learning. I do not understand how to prepare dataset let say caltech101 or standford dog data set, to train vgg net or google net. How to form training and validating and testing data set from these whole set of data set. Any help is appreciated.

The only requirement for this is to resize all of the images to any fixed size say 64 * 64 or if you have better computing power available then you can go to 256* 256 or even 512*512 size

so in short

1. Read Image

2. Resize to 64 *64

3. append in array

4. Repeat

At the end you should have array of size ( noOfImages * 4096 )
