How to precipitate FeOOH from a FeCl2 solution in mildly acidic (pH 5.5-6.5) condition?

Dear researchers,

Do you have an idea how to precipitate FeOOH from a 2mM FeCl2.4H2O solution at pH 5.5 to 7? I know that adding NaOH in an FeCl2 solution would help precipitate FeOOH. However, the solution becomes alkaline in this case. I need the precipitation in acidic condition for my research. Your insight will be appreciated.
