Hi I am currently investigating turbulent fluid flow through a dividing junction (1 inlet, 2 outlets), I have ran my simulations but need to plot the total pressure along the pipe and dividing legs to then calculate the pressure loss at the junction to determine K loss values. However, I have plotted a general line along my pipe and dividing branches but I think I need to plot the average total pressure of the cross section at different points along the pipe as using a line in the centre is not accurate due to accelerated flow at the centre and recirculation zones at the division. Is there a way I can create points along my pipe that can capture the average pressure for the cross section at these points?

You can calculate averaged total pressure with the help of a calculator in CFD-Post. You should insert several locations (Planes) and after that, you can calculate the averaged total pressure in each plane. Then you can plot averaged total pressure along a pipe in any program, for example, Excel.

loss of head along pipe =( 4flv^2) / 2.g.D , l=pipe length, D=dia of pipe, f = friction coefficient depend on material of pipe , v= velocity of flow , g=gravity constant
if you taking about average velocity at any section is of pipe , maximum at center and zero at surface of pipe is general acceptable rule, average of it is av. velocity at any section of pipe
or you use some hydraulic theories to make average
and your question is not well clear what actually want
1) velocity along pipe is average velocity , but pressure head reduces as length increases that can be calculated by above equation
2) average velocity at x-section , maximum at center of flow or pipe and lwast or zero at surface of pipe
