Do you want KML outputs through Matlab or want to make independent program? Or want your code to get integrated/call Google's API and/or Matlab's KML toolbox(I did not get what you meant by 'without using a mapping toolbox')

Sir, I have designed a Longley Rice pathloss model .. Now, I have to use kml pgm to plot pathloss on earth's terrain given latitude and longitude of transmitter. Also, given a point inside the coverage area , I should be able to know the power of signal from the transmitter at that6 particular location. How can I do the same??

I hope this might be helpful for you

1. Calculate the attenuation value of each point in a region and plot on an image (as coverage) with rgb values ​​are equivalent to the value of attenuation

2. Place the image as a layer overlay on google map at coordinates corresponding to then region.

3. If users click the image then convert the RGB pixel values ​​to the attenuation value

Hello, i have the same problem, i need to present the coverage area of a given transmetter (longitude and latitude are given). i dont know what tool to use because i need to run an algorithm to maximize coverage and minimize the overlap writen in matlab if you have any idea please help me
