I am trying to plga scaffold for drug delivery application. I dissolved 500 mg plga in 50 ml acetone. Then I poured 10 ml of plga solution to glass petridish and 10 ml of plga solution to plastic petridish. I keep the petridishes in vacuum oven for 2 days. The film was formed successfully, but it is attached to plates. Is it possible to peel the film from the plates without any damage??
Thanks for the answer. Actually I dissolved plga in acetone. Then I pour 20 ml of plga solution in glass and plastic petridishes. The problem is that plga film attached to the surface of the plates. I thing that solvent plays a major role? If I change from acetone to other solvents like chloroform and dichlormethane, this problem can be avoidable??
You can dip your PLGA film in Milli Q water and give some ultra sonic waves using low power ultra sonic cleaner. I think changing the solvent won't help. I hope it will help. Make sure the power of ultrasonic waves should be low.
