In many building simulation papers, I found that authors mentioned the measured cooling/heating load data of given buildings? So i would ask how can I get the measured cooling/heating load values? Are they the cooling/heating capacity of the HVAC systems? Thanks for your help.

In fact, I am now trying to optimize a water source heat pump (WSHP) -based space heating system in the North country. And overheating is frequently happened in the official buildings at the morning stage in weekdays. What I want is to reduce the energy waste or the redundant heat supply from the WSHP unit. I think it is very important to calculate and compare the dynamic heat supply of the WSHP and energy demand of the building, which is the heat load of the building.
In the project, I record the local weather conditions, heat pump watts, water supply and return temperature to the buildings, water flow rate, water pump power consumption, and indoor temperature of each room in the building. I can easily obtain the heat supply. However, I do not have the heating load profiles. So I have no idea to do next. Hope you can provide me a solution.
If you have building model with you then you can calculate Heating/cooling load using TRNSYS(There might be some other open source softwares).
You need to know how the heat is supplied. If it is air heating using normal heater then pre calculated load profile is enough to analyse working of heatpump. If it is floor heaing, it will be little complicated. in this situation better to have building model.
