I need a light source to illuminate on Photovoltaic (mono crystalline -Silicon) panel from a distance of 2 meters, with an irradiance strength on the PV surface of 3 or 4 sun ( 3000 - 4000 W/m2).
what should be the power of the light source (if LED let's say)?
and what is the spectral range that the light source should be? (because what I know is that a light source with spectral range around 800nm wavelength is the best to be absorbed by the Si-PV panel [I am not sure about this information, so please correct me if I am mistaken]).

Which part of the wavelength spectrum do you want use? Usually PV cells are tested with solar simulators that cover a broad spectrum and only a fraction of it will be converted by the PV cell. There are different technologies for solar simulation lamps (https://g2voptics.com/solar-simulation/ ). As the heat radiation is a desired part of the spectrum in this application, the conversion efficiency will be quite high, and a LED source might not be the most efficient here. In the link above is stated, that with LED only 1.1 suns can be achieved.
The simple calculation would be: if your PV panel is 2m², than 3 suns need 2*3*1000W radiative power, and maybe twice that in primary electrical power.
IMHO the cited number of 1.1 suns for an LED based simulator is wrong.
We should be able to get appr. 30 suns with a (not very practical) optical design.
The reason is that a panel tester is allowed to shine light under a much larger angle than the sun on the test surface which compensates for the lower luminance of - say - LEDs.
So you should basically be able to achieve a few suns.

I do not want to test PV, I need to encourage the generation of electron-holes pairs. since the Silicon-PV panel is considered, typically it consists of many layrs to absorb a wider range. the band gap of Si is around 1.1ev (1127nm) which is the cut-off. Any higher value than 1.1ev is better (with paying attention that the excessive is converted to heat). Hence, due to the different layers 1.5ev is the best to generate electron-holes (1.5ev = 820nm).
Therefore, I think an LED with peak at 820nm is suitable, however how to achieve 3 or 4 sun irradiance from a distance of 2 meters? what is the power of the LED should be ( power of the LED is different from W/m2 )?
