Input is a Hyperion hyperspectral image. I followed steps Preprocessing, MNF, ppi, nD visualizer and SAM. Also spectral anayst used. I found minerals by spectral resampling of imagery spectral library and library obtained through field analysis (FieldSpec4). Please guide me how to mapped minerals identified on a map.

I have used hyperspectral in the Andes of South America over the zoned alteration zones of high sulfidation systems with good success. They can be very useful to cover large areas of difficult terrain. However, as with most all remote sensing data it must be field truthed to be most useful and to avoid erroneous conclusions. Depending on the weathering history of the study area I have found the surface of the rocks, which is all the image can perceive can be potentially very different from the actual alteration exposed under the weathered surface. You need to crack the rocks open. Once you have delineated areas with distinct responses to your image manipulations, you need to follow up by going to the field and collecting samples from the distinct zones and evaluate them using a PIMA, or other analytical method , and then reinterpret the initial interpretations.
