During this current shortage we need content specialists to develop online continuing education courses.

We pay an initial honorarium and a 10% quarterly percentage of the income generated by the course. Some states that require 20 to 30 contact hours for a license renewal will give the nurses up to 15 contact hours toward the 30 hours for developing a course.

We encourage nurses to add this course development to their CVs. We pre and post test each course using Survey Monkey. We are thinking of highlighting this so content specialist can add their own questions for data collection. We are looking for what else could motivate content specialists to develop online courses in their field.
