I am going to test half life of 30 synthetic peptides and was wondering if anyone has a set protocol to test it. Thanks.
Anukana
Half live for(in) what kind of process?
Sorry for asking!
For biological activity you need a bio-assay method. For chemical and physical degradation, PRLC, SEC, CEX and CZE chromatographic methods.
Dear Anukana,
While being busy on something else I ‘stumble’ on the following site called PEPLife:
http://crdd.osdd.net/raghava/peplife/
Select the download option and subsequently reference:
http://crdd.osdd.net/raghava/peplife/ref.php
Here you find references to numerous studies. Possibly you find a desired and for you useful procedure.
Good luck!
Rob Keller This looks really interesting and useful. Thanks!!!
Can any one provide me a standard PK/PD protocol . for small molecule/ peptide?
