I've recently published a preprint for a COVID treatment RCT, which appeared under "Dental" specialty instead of "Infectious diseases (ID)". This is an issue as it doesn't appear under searches for ID. Is there's any way to modify this categorization?
I think this is really difficullt, as such assignments are generated automatically by certain algorithms according to keywords or terms appearing in the abstract. And you never will identify a responsible personal contact whom to address. You may try to contact the administrators/help line of the database where your article has been made available.
