basically what i want to do is soil modelling using winkler's spring in abaqus .so how to model that winkler's sprin in abaqus is what i want to ask .

Linear spring can be easily modeled in *.Cae file using the assembly module-->Engineering features--> Springs or dashpots then you assign the linear spring values. The nonlinear spring can only be modeled using *.inp file of Abaqus.
