I have to model different types of eccentrically braced frames in ETAB in order to conduct a comparitive study.For that how can i model EBF?Is it possible to make link element yield first and other elements such as column,bracing and beam outside the link remain elastic after the earthquake analysis?

Generally, In ETAB we model columns with this assume that they are continuous and without any joint, but for beams this assume is inverse. Thus, for model eccentrically braced frame structures in ETAB, it's better we define a joint on length of column and sketch the brace frame from foundation to this joint.
This key point don't forget that the analysis of this structure is different that in other question of you existence.
