Well I believe to write my own code, then relying on ABAQUS or ANSYS.

Because you don't have any restriction whether particular module is available or not in the available software's.

Let's suppose the next situation: we have k+1 equidistant nodes N1,...,Nk+1, the distance between N1 and Nk+1 is L, we want apply concentrated force moving with the speed V from N1 to Nk+1. The time dT=L/(k*V) is required for the force to move from Ni to Ni+1, T=L/V is the total time. To model this moving force we apply the same forces at every node but with different amplitudes:
