Dear Scholars,

As a part of my research, I am interested to measure the mass evolution (mass lost) of a evaporating fuel droplet during its combustion/evaporation. In our experiment, a fuel droplet with an initial diameter of 1mm and initial mass of 0.5 milligrams is usually suspended on a fine fiber (15 micron, Silicon Carbide) or thermocouple (25 micron) and the droplet is exposed to high temperature non-reactive environment (provided by McKenna burner) to evaporate. The following figure, illustrates the general idea of fuel droplet mass measurement during experiment.

As I mentioned, I am interested to know the fuel droplet mass evolution while it is evaporating. Regarding that, I would appreciate if you could tell me about any possible solution?
