If there are two or three different agroforestry system to be evaluated for efficiency of productivity in terms of carbon sequestration potential, then what are the parameters to be used for comparison
Ahmad, thanks for uploading nice paper in this regard, as far as the question asked is very appropriate in the present context, the indicators for c-sequestration by adoption of agro-forestry could be Soil Organic Carbon dynamics within the profile (b periodic measurements), Net primary productivity from the agro-forestry system in comparison with the mono- agro or forestry systems, emission of GHGs from the system comparisons, soil environment changes (physical, chemical and biological) by the new changed land use type, the relationship of change with the climatic conditions.
