In daily practice sometimes we can not weigh patients directly because the patient's condition is not allowed. Is there a way or a formula that can be used to estimate patient's body weight based on, for example, the circumference of the upper arm or wrist circumference?

As you can see bu the previous responses, there are different algorythms in the literature for the estimation of body weight. I would look at different options and try the ones that would be more suited for my population, and then look at the ones with the highest R2 and lowest standard errors (SRMSE) of the predictive regression equations.. I think the patients preception of their own weight, as mentioned above is also a very good idea.
As you might be intersted in prediction of standing height as well, I include a recent publication from our group on the estimation of height based on knee length

The patient is rather good at estimating his/her own weight.

you can use Buckley Formula, the publication Already attached
- Male ABW (kg) = -47.8 + 0.78 * (Abdominal Circumference) + 1.06 * (Tigh Circumference)
- Female ABW = -40.2 + 0.47 * (AC) + 1.30 * (TC)
or for elderly women you can use Bernal-orozco formula
- estimated weight = (1.599* knee height) +(1.135* mid arm circum- ference) + (0.735*calf circumference) + (0.621* tricipital skinfold thickness)–83.123

I have read the answers above, and those can already pursing the relevant methods of hospitalised patient’s body weight. However, the characteristics of the patient's own should be concerned carefully, then you can use the relevant method.
I agree with the previous opinion, that the perception of the patient to the dynamic changes in his/her body weight can be considered even though there is existed of subjectivity, and in hospitalised conditions, it is individual between patients.
