Pls I need guidance, I have data for normal subjects walking, and I want to calculate the ground reaction force (GRF), I have used a foot insole that has 16 sensors on each sole when generating the Excel sheet, contains 32 columns, how to calculate the GRF from such data?
The data you got is basically small ground reaction forces located at each of the respective sensors on the footbed. To obtain a single ground reaction force, simply add up each of these small forces and then, using a summation of moments, find the center of pressure, which is the theoretical point where the contact force you calculated would act.
Another important detail is to process the data. The magnitude of these small forces has not yet been processed by what we call raw data. To convert this data into a unit of force, you must calibrate the sensors using some known magnitude (for example, an object whose weight you know).

I add up the small forces for the left foot and right foot separately? and I get one summed up value for the left foot and for the right foot separately?,
for the second part of your answer, if I understood it correctly, is related to normalization ??. if you can give more detail on how I can apply it?
