I am dealing with silicon nitride powder that has a D50 around 1micron and specific surface area around 10 m2/g. Due to particle-particle & particle-wall collisions in transport lines, I am experiencing undesired agglomeration and bad powder flow behaviour. I am seeking an established way to quantify those electrostatic forces / commercially available techniques. Can any of you recommend on that?

To study such phenomena, electrophoresis is used. The Zeta potential is measured by the DLS method. By a simple equation, the electrophoretic mobility of the particles is determined by the simple equation
Zeta potential = 1.42 × 10 6 × electrophoretic mobility (m2 / s х B).
Change the medium, particle size, etc. Electric charge and electrical forces are difficult to determine.
