Yes, the TSC report is interesting, but a bit superficial I think.

At the farm level, certification bodies like Utz and evaluators like COSA have done a lot of work.

The problem is to measure overall effects of coffee production - e.g. on regional pollution, water over-use, hydrological problems and local warming caused by deforestation, carbon footprint. Not much effective work has been done on that.
